These hand-lettered wedding invites are inspired by the couple’s love for music, so the invite is based off of gig posters and vintage event tickets. The gig poster invite captures the wedding evening with the sunset in a California garden, then dancing and celebration around bonfires into the night.

The large blue invite & thank you card was skillscreened by my friend, Tyler Deal, at Idiot Pull. The ticket was printed on a risograph.
Tonight was my first class in a business development program, Planning for Profit, at the Woman’s Business Development Center. This program is geared towards entrepreneurial women who have a business idea and need to flush it out or have already started a business. I’m in the latter category…with two businesses, my own freelance graphic design and Legacy Frameworks, my husband, Levi’s, design and hand-built bicycle company, which I have a significant role in.
In the class, I’ll be developing a business plan which includes three modules and focusing on Legacy Frameworks.1:: Foundation & Vision2:: Marketing and exposure3:: Financials and Finesse
I’ve been running my freelance graphic design business for nearly 4 years and Levi & I run Legacy Frameworks, which both are going well but there’s a lot of guesswork, feeling a little haphazard about how the businesses are run. Both have goals and lots of ideas, so this program will be helpful to be walked through a process to build a meaningful foundation setting bigger goals and a plan to get there. I feel incredibly empowered by the foundation that I’m about to build, and is really confident boosting.
I’m taking the class with 21 other smart, entrepreneurial women with diverse business ideas and it’ll be fun to watch everyone grow over the next few months, and over the years. High-res
